Paul Hewitt pioneered the conceptual approach to teaching at City College of San Francisco, with guest spots at the University of California at both the Berkeley and Santa Cruz campuses, and the University of Hawaii at both the Manoa and Hilo campuses.     Low level, very high priced, written for people not interested in Physics

    This book tries to make Physics easy but in doing so neglects the mathematics and sometimes misguides the reader. This might be an appropriate textbook for grade school level classes.
