This is a very nice collection of (relatively) easy pieces, which every violin student can relate to, but played by The Master. Even though these are not the greatest works ever composed, I still found them very enjoyable, and with Itzhak Perlman, just about anything sounds good anyway. If you did not study the violin, you may find them a little bland, but if you did, do not hesitate -- it'll bring back all kinds of memories. As a bonus, you'll get to discover a number of lesser-known composers, most of them unjustly forgotten.
