Meet the Author

KEN SAFAROWIC grew up a Giants fan in New York, with a passion for the history of all things, football. He has under-gone a successful conversation to an Eagles fan through the dual therapies of being a long time Eagles season ticket holder, and being married to the former Carol Bednarik, daughter of one Concrete Charlie.

A graduate of Columbia University, he has worked as a sportswriter for the Yonkers Herald Statesman, for Edelman public relations, operated the Fort Washington Expo Center. He lives with Carol, and sons Stephen and Charlie in suburban Philadelphia.

ELI KOWALSKI has developed many Philadelphia-themed products over the past 25 years. He is the author of several books about the Philadelphia Eagles, such as the Philly Sports Challenge Eagles Edition, Looking Back 75 years of Eagles History: Special Edition, which was licensed by the Philadelphia Eagles. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA, with his wife Wendy and son Zachary.
