All Music Guide - Andrew Leahey
The Temper Trap's debut is perhaps most widely known for its lead single, "Sweep Disposition," a pop anthem framed by the influence of Jeff Buckley's falsetto and U2's guitar delay. A similar sound also fuels the rest of Conditions, which takes additional cues from the sweeping, effects-laden strains of Bends-era Radiohead and Coldplay. Released in 2009, this album was supported with a healthy international tour, which included standout performances at the Lollapalooza and Glastonbury festivals.

    I Also Recommend:

Great CD from start to finish!

There are very few CD's out there that I can play from start to finish and enjoy every single song. Conditions is one of those few. The Temper Trap is a brilliant up and coming group who will startle you with their strong vocals and have you singing along to every song. The great thing about this album is that there's a song to fit every mood. Want an upbeat tune to blast in your car? Got it. Want a melancholy tune for a rainy day? Got that too. My favorite tracks on this album are "Fader" and Soldier On." "Fader" makes me feel optimistic about life, while the hauntingly beautiful "Soldier On" gives me chills due to the sheer intensity of it. Based off this album and the undeniable talent of TTT, I think this is only the beginning of a legendary discovery. If you are hesitating to buy this album, don't. It will change your life!
