Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Mandy Cruz
Little Bunny sleeps alone; he has no siblings, just a room all to himself. One sleepless night he feels lonely and thinks it would be a great idea to find someone to accompany him to dreamland. His first stop is his neighbor's house. Squirrel is happy to have Little Bunny's companionship and Little Bunny feels fortunate to have company throughout the night. Eventually Little Bunny is awakened by Squirrel's nut cracking so Little Bunny decides to find another place to sleep. So he makes his way to Skunk's house, Porcupine's, Bear's and finally, Owl's, only to find that they each have a habit that keeps him awake. Little Bunny's story does a beautiful job of teaching the wise lesson that the grass is not always greener on the other side. The delicate, yet lively, illustrations animate Little Bunny's struggle with being alone then with having a companion that has their own routine then finally to acceptance and gratitude for his peaceful life.
