    more from this reviewer

Second in the series and better than the first...

I cannot believe what's happened in book 2. I can't wait to read the third. So much happened, definitely no disappointment.

    Language and Culture information

The Shunning was really much better; this book is written from 2 character POV and that became annoying rather than adding tension. The Confession was not believable. It was just too 'storybook', unrealistic. Liked the language and Amish background info. Would be better for young readers rather than adults.

    A Great Read!

'The Confession' was a great read! I passed it on to my sisters. When everyone wants to get their hands on a book, it means it is a great read! I could relate to the main character, as I was once a member of an Old Order Amish sect and was excommunicated when I was twenty. I recommend this book for all who love to read a good book!

"The Shunning" was a wonderful book. I really enjoyed it. The more I read it, the harder it was to put it down.
