Fear Street The Confession was an incredible book about five friends who have to deal with the guilt of having the knowledge of a murder of one of their friends. The victim was Al. Everyone hated him because he used to ask everyone for money and blackmailed his friends if they wouldn't give it to him. One day when vincent, one of the five friends was blackmailed into letting Al use his parents car, when Al came back and vincent's parents car was totaled. He was the most hated friend of them all. Then one night at the skating rink, outside was lying Al's body. The body was found by Julie the main character. Julie told her friends Taylor, Hilary, Sandy, and Vincent. Then on the day of the funeral, a confession was made. Sandy was the one that killed Al. Or was he?. My opinion of this book was that I enjoyed the drama and the relationship between the friends. This book shows how friends can go through alot and still be the best of friends through thick and thin. I usually don't read books until my lovely english suggest that we have a free read period. I highly recommend this book because its full of suspense and thriller

The book I read was from the Fear Street series, The Confession, by R.L. Stine. The Confession was a thrilling book that kept me guessing. When you finally think that you got everything figured out, the book sends you for another twist. In my opinion I feel that R.L. Stine wrote an excellent book that was unlike others I have read. For example, he would tell you what happened at the end of a chapter, but not tell you all the details until the end of the next chapter. At the end of chapter 12, it stated that Sandy killed again, but did not explain until a later chapter. R.L. Stine really knows how to keep the reader's attention and make them want to read more. On my Christmas break, my family and I went to visit some family, and while we were in the car I read this book aloud, and my sister wouldn't let me stop reading. Though I enjoyed this book, I do not feel that it deserved a five star rating, due to the fact that there were a couple slow parts. I guess though, that a book can not have an exciting event happen all the time.
