    Megan Nicole Here

I am really happy Katerine isn't dead but really wish there will be another book. I know that there wont be one but a girl can dream right? I am seriously very angry that James did that though. Why would he break up with her to go out with her BEST FRIEND? I wouldn't and probably could not imagine that happening. Why would he do that? He has no humanity.
Reply to Megan Nicole as a headline if you want to talk more about James being a big dummy.

    Not enough character development

As usual the story whiz zed along, but I never got totally engaged with the characters, so I did not care f or them so much.also, it was in Paris, but I never got a feel for the city., which I love. It could have been Peoria. Nothing in the story was developed in full It was more like fleshed out outline.

Reviewed by Stephen Brayton for Readers' Favorite

Six months have passed since Tandy Angel rediscovered the love of her life, James Rampling, and helped solve a murder. She and the rest of the Angels are just trying to live whatever life they can manage – a new school, new inheritance...and new problems. First up, James disappears with barely a note goodbye. Tandy then discovers a picture and notes in the basement of her grandmother's house that relate to her sister, Katherine, the one who died in an auto accident. Was it an accident or murder? Why does she see black cars following her wherever she goes? Does any or all of this connect to the fact that the Angel children were lab rats for experimental drugs given by their parents? In Confessions: The Paris Mysteries, James Patterson and Maxine Paetro delve into family secrets and reveal some shockers that Tandy may not be ready for.

It's the ongoing saga of the Angel family and it continues the story that started in Patterson's Confessions: The Private School Murders, which probably should be read first to get a complete understanding of the story so far. In The Paris Mysteries, Patterson's unique style of short chapters, with Confession interludes, brought me close to the mystery, closer to the characters. This is an enjoyable series with clues here and there, troubles everywhere, and quick action. While the story is unto itself, it leaves the door wide open with more questions to answer and a promise of more Tandy adventures to come. And I just have to say, I can't wait.
