The book offers some interesting, candid insights, and engaging with the pickup artist "community" through a feminist lens is novel and thought-provoking, but 'Confessions' is limited by poor organization and a rather flat, amateurish writing style. A few moments in the book shine with original, critical thought but most of it is short on theory and analysis (even the informal, non-academic sort better suited to such a book) and draws to heavily on anonymous internet postings as credible sources. Was this review helpful?
