What Other Business Books Won't Tell You

This books is full of interesting anecdotes and hypothetical situations that paint a darker picture of the music business then other business books portray. Having been in the music business for a short time I can say that the tone of this book is something that I recognize and some of the situations are things that I have experienced first hand. Having limited exposure to the biz I can't vouch for everything. The best thing this book can do for any musician, aspiring agent, producer, engineer, etc. is to give them a realistic sense of where they are on the food chain, what their chances are for success and what hoops they must jump through. I recommend this book to anyone who aspires to deal with the record industry.

A long hard look before you leap

I really feel that 'Confessions...' has a lot to offer anyone planning to enter into the music industry. I have been recommending this book to many fellow local musicians and producers alike. 'Moses'... if you ever read this... I want to thank you for revealing the truths of the record business. The best musicians are the well educated and well armed ones... and this book is great ammo. Thanks again...

The Best Reading Of Its Kind

I have just stepped into the music business, and I never before seen a book so well detailed like this. I haven't read anything else like this, ever! I recommend this book to anyone who is in the music business, or just want to read it for pleasure.
