About the Author

New York Times bestselling author Beth Harbison started cooking when she was eight years old, thanks to Betty Crocker’s Cook Book for Boys and Girls. After graduating college, she worked full-time as a private chef in the DC area, and within three years she sold her first cookbook, The Bread Machine Baker. She published four cookbooks before moving on to writing women’s fiction, including the runaway bestseller Shoe Addicts Anonymous and When in Doubt, Add Butter. She lives in Palms Springs, California. 

Katie Schorr's audiobook credits include narrating the novels in Alyson Noel's bestselling Immortals series – Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland, and Dark Flame.  Of her work on the series, AudioFile magazine has said, "Narrator Katie Schorr has a wonderfully raspy, youthful voice, which she puts to good effect on the cast of teenaged characters."Schorr’s one-woman show, Take Me. Cassidy’s Broadway credits include Present Laughter with Frank Langella, Our Country's Good, and Suddenly Last Summer.  She has appeared Off-Broadway in Bright Ideas and The Field at The Irish Rep (Drama Desk Nomination). She was "Doris Wolfe" on The Guiding Light and her other television appearances include Sex and the City, Law & Order, Law and Order SVU, and Elementary.  She also appeared in the films Purple Violets, Young Adult, and Definitely, Maybe.
