What an original, intriguing, super hot offering this was. There was so much going on, yet the author held onto her reins tight and steered us through a mine filled plot with pure effortless delight. I have to say that even after reading so many of her books and expecting some kind of emotional battle, the author slayed me within the first few pages! and not content with that, she did it again and again - what a roller coaster of a ride! I also have to say that to highlight the plight of the GLBT community in Russia was a very brave thing to do - well done author (let's hope that Vladimir Putin doesn't read the book and she finds a real life assassin on her tail!). Now to the book - Your lover has died, you slowly piece by piece restore your heart and then suddenly, something truly wonderful happens and you fall hopelessly in love again. But one day, your "dead" lover returns! As I said before, an emotional roller coaster! Oh and did I mention the twist? - didn't see that one coming! This is the second book of the Assassins Series, it was much darker and intense than the first one and I loved it!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
