Overview

Authored by John Santrock, a prominent developmental psychologist, and Jane Halonen, an educational leader in critical thinking, this new text will appeal to instructors who teach a short version of the college success course, have not previously or recently used a commercial textbook, and/or use handouts or self-published packets to teach the course. The low price of the book coupled with its accessible design and tightly focused content allow instructors to zero in on key concepts that are vital for student success. The text and visuals demonstrate diversity in student age, gender, ethnicity, culture, and socio-economic background.
