Meet the Author

Graduate MA from the University of Edinburgh (1972.) Post Graduate Certificates and Diplomas in Education, Psychotherapy, NLP and Psychology between 1973 and 1986.

Countless speaking engagements to teachers, parents and psychologists in the UK and abroad (most recent being Kuwait Learning Difficulties Association twice, October and Nov 2004 and various Bangkok Institutions 2003 to 2007) press interviews, radio interviews and over a dozen TV interviews, most of which are in connection with my work in Accelerated Learning.

Began 2 years of research and development work with dyslexics and slow learners in 1986 opening my own centre in Edinburgh in 1988. Years of working one to one led to the Edinburgh Techniques being written up and sold over the internet since 1997 and round UK schools since 1998.

Realizing that Stress was a major problem for many in education I began to focus on Stress Management and in 1997 opened the Stress Management Centre in Harley Street. Later I was asked to do regular consultancy work at the Holistic Health Centre in Wimpole Street until I left the UK for the Far East early in 2002. I returned to Edinburgh late 2007.
