    Top Notch

I have been an aquarist for years, engulfing nearly every text on the subject. This is the 'Marine Bible' everyone should start with. Clear, articulate and concise, Bob Fenner brings you into Oz, and lets you take a peek behind the curtain. And then, he tells you how to create your own. I now read advanced texts on the subject, and this is the only book that I come back time and time again. It may save you hundreds of dollars in poor decisions averted alone!

    Excellant Book

I have bought numerous books over the internet on marine fish and was always disappointed. I thought I would give Barnes and Noble a chance and see what their books were like. The shipping time was great and the book was better than I ever expected,I highly reccommend this book for anyone just starting out with a new Aquarium.I Cannot express the satisfaction out of reading this book. After going to 3 Marine shops and everyone telling me something different I thought I would try to find a book that had some knowledge for the first timer starting an aquarium. This is the book.......Thank you for the excellant reviews on the book, they were right on .

    Excellent reading on marine aquariums!

Very precise and accurate information. I've read and re-read seven books on the subject in order to begin a reef aquarium after keeping saltwater fish only. The book was recommended by an excellent marine fish store, and I would highly recommend it after reading it myself.

    Must Have Book

This book is an excellent all-around book to have in your marine library. It's well written and pleasant to read, and it has great pictures. Lots of infos for reefers of every level. If you only plan on buying a few books, this should be one of them.

    Easy to understand, great pictures

If you want to avoid heartbreak in your tank, buy this book. Without it, listening to your local pet store will cost you money and fish.

    An Excellent Resource

A superb text for the novice marine aquarist. The author tells us what works and isn't afraid to tell us what does not. A must.
