    Think Before You Eat

Gabriel Cousens' book, Conscious Eating is one a friend of mine highly recommended I get and read...when I became a vegetarian Jan. 2, 2010. It is a book that not only encompasses the reasons why I eat, but helped me learn what foods are causing some of the physical problems I have, to include headaches...and what food may be best for me in light of my own personal health needs. Cousens takes time to give specific foods that one may eat to help if one is say, iron deficient...and I was amazed that many vegetables/fruits actually have a higher content of vitamins, iron, etc., particularly in a raw form, or prepared in a particular manner, so as to extract the most benefit for a person. The author further has a section of recipes!! I am very excited by this book and know I will come back to it time and again to help not only myself, but my friends as well to eat with the goal being to increase health, vitality and stamina. Thank you Gabriel Cousens, M.D.!!
