Maggie and Caleb are married, leaders of their people, parents to their children, and happier than they ever dreamed, even with the visions they saw of it to prove it so. The council is still rebelling against Maggie’s changes, but this time it’s different. It’s almost as if something…or someone is behind them, pulling the strings and making decisions for them.

And Maggie is having strange visions that only she can see, leaving Caleb helpless to help her. But when her visions start to warn her that their daughter, Ava, will one day be in danger, they’ll do anything it takes to find out what’s going on and how to stop it, even paying a visit to a previous Visionary.

Maggie and Caleb must find out who or what is behind it all and stop them before Maggie is one vision too late.

    Asdfghjkl

I screamed at the end of this.. i didnt want it to end!! I love Maggie & Caleb and i wondered about Ava & Rodney! I just wish she'd introduce a new antagonist besides the Watsons. Other than that though i loved the whole 43 pages of it!

    *few spoilers
This book is going to be the reason I stay up at night rocking back and forth because I seriously can not wait for book five!! I've missed Caleb and Maggie something fierce! This is one of my All TIME FAVORITE book series and I was so sad to see it end after Independence.

After Independence, I believed All of Maggie and Caleb's problems were over. Which seemed like everyone's mistakes because there is more wars to be fought and won. I love that Maggie and Caleb haven't changed and I wasn't surprised in the least when I began to fall in love with them even more. Maggie is still this super badass Visionary who remains to fight for what she believes in while still being this sweet, caring, " amazing" woman.
Caleb is still the same knight and shinning armor who will do absolutely anything for his significant and now his family.   I swear they're like real people to me because I know their story so well. Shelly Crane really makes these characters come alive. I see them as clear as day in my head and I feel their emotions in her words.

This was an absolutely amazing  preview into a whole new story. I only got a glimpse of what was going on in Ava's head and Im already in love with her character.
Seth... Shelly crane had me at small  Fo-hawk. He sounds absolutely gorgeous and I hope we get to hear his POV  in the next book because I need to hear what's going on in his head. I'm intrigued by him! I need his life story and thoughts!!! This appears to have a Romeo and Juliet theme going on except Juliet wants nothing to do with him. Unfortunately im affraid her imprint won't allow that for too long. There lies one of the many problems that's going to be between them. I can't wait to see how this plays out... ALL THE WAYY IN FALL!! That needs to be moved up by the way. No matter how many books I read in between now and then... This will always be in the back of my mind.

    more from this reviewer

Who loves Caleb and Maggie? This gal!

Just when everything is going smoothly in their lives, the Watsons try to screw it all up for Caleb and Maggie. And that is fine. They can deal with those idiots. But when they want to include Ava, Maggie and Caleb's daughter, well, they have another thing coming. No one is going to mess with their children. No one.

Consequence is a great story that is packed full of suspense and intrigue. You wouldn't think it would be since it is a short story, but it is. I was pleasantly surprised with all I found in this little gem of a story. The romance was still there, just like I remembered it. The characters are still fantastic and very much like a family I haven't seen in some time. The storyline was fabulous, which I wouldn't have expected anything less. I was happy with it from start to finish. But the best part? My most absolute favorite of favs part? That would be the lead up to the next book in the series. I so cannot wait to see what Crane has in store for these people. Especially Ava.

A definite must read for fans of the Significance series.
