In this particular book the author explains what radiation and nuclear waste are and how they are formed. The author begins with the premise that it is essential to be well-informed on the subject before the reader makes any judgement. She provides all the facts on both sides of the nuclear power issue to enable readers to make up their own minds. A further reading list and list of useful addresses is included. The author is an officer of the National Association for Environmental Education and currently teaches at Durham University.
