Overview

As I sit writing to you from a friend’s home in Palermo, Italy, I’m looking down at a brand new apartment block being built. From my view on the 14th floor balcony, I can see that the foundations of the new building have already been laid and the builders are up to the 8th floor. I notice that the foundations are very deep.

Today I have observed them pouring the liquid cement which will soon become the 9th floor … floor upon floor, layer upon layer, all supported by a deep and solid foundation. I can see that the process of building takes great cost and effort, and many days of hard work. I can also see that with each passing day, each week, and eventually months, this great building is being built to last, built to stand whatever might come its way.

The opportunity to observe this process afforded me great insight into the “real” Christian Life. Like the building, each of us needs to be built upon a solid foundation, the Person of Christ. Then we need to be established in apostolic truth by the men and women of God who are willing to do the hard work and pay the price to invest in our lives. The “liquid truth” of God is poured into our lives by His Spirit, and as we walk it out over time, it becomes solid substance that supports the “building” of our lives.

As we do our part of “the work,” applying the truth to our lives, the building grows to completion - floor by floor, built life principle upon life principle. In this way our lives are continually being built until finally we are presented to Christ as a strong and completed structure, founded on Him.

CONSTRUCTIONAL TRUTH follows after LIQUID TRUTH in helping to build established and mature believers.

Your friend,
Paul Graham

Derek Brown
In these days when the term apostolic is used so freely that it has lost its true meaning, I am happy to recommend a true apostle in Paul Hubbard. With integrity of character and family, and with a solid foundation in church, his adventurous faith, pioneering spirit and courage, Paul is one that I recognize to be a true apostle.

We have known Paul for several years and enjoy the freshness of zeal he has for the Kingdom of GOD. The sincerity of his heart and the Grace of GOD upon his life have opened the doors for the apostolic mantle upon his life to reach into the nations of the world. It is not what you rule, but who rules you that causes eternity to come down and touch earth. It is this heart in Paul and Kjersti that God is using to perpetuate the purposes of His Kingdom.

Paul Hubbard is a man of deep conviction and has embraced the enormous task of “laying again” the foundations in the hearts of all who will receive him. This hour is in desperate need of an apostolic anointing ... Without reservation I would recommend Pastor Hubbard to your ministry. I am sure you will find his ministry refreshing, renewing and redeeming!
