Consumer's Guide to HSAs: Health Savings Accountsby Joann Mills Laing

EDITORIAL REVIEW: A breakthrough in health care for employees and employers alike, HSAs stand for "Health Savings Accounts." As of Januar y 1, 2004, HSAs are a new option from the U.S. government, similar to an IRA, offering individuals a new, tax-sheltered way to accumulate savings. Tax-free dollars in HSAs may be withdrawn instantly for qualified medical expenses, rolled over without penalty for spending in future years, or invested, to accumulate savings to pay for health needs after retirement. As 73% of all Americans spend $500 or less on medical costs each year and most of us want to save for future health care and retirement needs, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) make sense for many of us. The consumer wins with a tax-advantaged account for medical expenses, which is portable, and grows tax-free, just like an IRA; and wins again with using the lower-cost, must have, high-deductible health policy. The 'Consumer's Guide to HSAs' answers the question "What's in it for Me?" But responsibility doesn't stop there. You must read your medical reports, check statements, and count your pills carefully. Ask questions. Keep records for future use, and soon you will realize as much of the benefits of consumer-driven health care and HSAs as possible.

♯ Hello, All, and Welcome to TimberClan. I do understand that there are maaaaaany clans out there, and 'TimberClan' isn't the name of a common clan. But, I promise you, as Leader, I will try my best to make your stay worthwhile. Don't post here, please! These are the Rules and Map. ♯
Rules of TimberClan //
• No godmodding. No matter whether it's an enemy cat, or simply a rouge, there shall be nothing you wouldn't find being done in the books.
---//---
• There shall be absolutely no drama. I could care less if there's a Tom/She you absolutely like but they like someone else, or if there's a non-cat animal around, do not start up unnecissary drama. At all.
---//---
• You shall have good grammar and add right punctuation. Okay, it's my biggest pet peeve when people don't read over their post for any misspellings before they actually post it. Check your spelling. And add puntuation. Where have you seen a sentence without correct puntuation? Please. I understand that we may have a few grammatical errors and puntuation errors, I do, I have it too. All I'm asking is you try your best to watch out for errors.
---//---
• No odd Powers, Wings, Odd Pelt and Eye Color, etc. Remember this is a realistic clan. Try to stay within the limit of the books.
---//---
• Advertise daily. I'm not sure how many time I have to stress this with my clans that I RP in. Without people advertising daily, we will end up dying out. So try your best to put out one advertisement a day, just so that at least one cat will join everyday.
---//---//---
Map of TimberClan //
Result 1 // Rules and Map
Result 2 // Main Camp
Result 3 // Bios
Result 4 // Leaders' Den
Result 5 // Med Cats' Den
Result 6 // Nursery
Result 7 // Warriors' Den
Result 8 // Apprentices' Den
Result 9 // Training Hollow
Result 10 // Hunting Ground
---//---
'Timber Meeting'
Result 1 // Meetings & Announcements
Result 2 // Deputy Reports & Needed Ceremonies
This guidebook book is an excellent resource, simplifing complex IRS regulations into something readable and understandable. It provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision on HSAs. Recommend it highly.
