Meet the Author

A Washington, DC native, L.M. Stull spends her days chained to a desk at a law firm in southern Virginia. When she’s not feverishly taking orders from attorneys, she writes. Her stories tell of the human spirit – sometimes sad, sometimes not – most can relate to them on some level or another.

L.M. Stull has a knack for conveying raw emotions into elegant prose. This collection of short stories and poems will enlighten and frighten you to feel all the sensations life has to offer; pain, joy and everything in between. My favorite story in this collection is "Come to Terms". I appreciate the lessons of this piece;"to ponder and enjoy even the most mundane happenings of everyday life." It is something I feel we all need to consider and live by.

I received this book in return for a review.I have read this book. It is a quick read and good for lunch hours and waiting for appointments. I wouldn't neccessarily say it's good for before bedtime but maybe for you it would be. It starts out darkly, really makes you think things through and gets lighter toward the end of the book. I liked it so give it a try and maybe you will like it too.
