Very hard to master, not a 7 day course.

I thought this would be a quick way to pick up a few necessary phrases for a short vacation. The format is very hard to follow as the phrases aren't translated in the exercises or on the disk so you have to search the phrase lists to find out what's being said in the exercises. They give the vowels without the conjugation so you need to understand conjugation to make heads or tails of phrases. There's no pronunciation guide or phonetic spelling with the vocabulary list just the 'guide' in the first part of the book. I've been to Italy before and have some knowledge of how the language sounds otherwise I'd have been really lost. The disk doesn't always follow the book lessons. Not what I wanted a big mistake.
