A must read for anyone who communicates on a regular basis!

This book is amazing! Shawn sheds light on the fact that having a conversation is about much more then just the words that you are speaking and/or the body language that you are displaying. The book discusses the 12 different types of conversations but the foundational pieces to these conversations is what struck me as so powerful. Shawn shares information on emotional intelligence, workplace motivators and communication styles and why they are so important to having meaningful conversations. She wants the reader to be successful and even offers a free communication styles assessment!

After reading this book I am confident that I am on the right path to having more effective and meaningful conversations in all areas of my life: personal and professional. Thanks Shawn!

It's all about communications, isn't it?

It doesn't matter what the focus is, it all comes back to how we communicate...or not. Shawn has taken her expertise, skill and creativity and written a book that is filled with information on how to communicate more effectively and more comfortably regardless of the situation. Inspiring, enlightening and a classic that will live in my library.
