Overview

In his sequel, Convict Conditioning 2, Coach Wade takes us even deeper into the subtle nuances of training with the ultimate resistance tool: our bodies. With an amazing understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, Coach Wade explains very simply how to work the smaller but just as important areas of the body such as the hands and forearms, neck and calves and obliques in serious functional ways.

His minimalist approach to exercise belies the complexity of his system and the deep insight into exactly how the body works and the best way to get from A to Z in the shortest time possible.

Sprinkled throughout the entire book are too-many-to-count insights and advice from a man who has come to his knowledge the hard way and knows exactly of what he speaks. But what Coach Wade does better than any before him is his unbelievable progressions on every exercise and stretch.

Many people think you can only do push ups and sit ups with body

Many people think you can only do push ups and sit ups with bodyweight, but you can also develop ridiculously big forearms, neck, and calves using only bodyweight and a towel. You can also get super flexible, lose fat and protect your joints. Also a section on psychology using prison techniques. Really different, really effective.

    For serious strength athletes

Far from the norm, this book dives into some uncomfortable methods for serious strength that many modern people in the so called 'fitness' crowd with their color coordinated workout clothes and treadmill workouts will be unable or unwilling to try or achieve, why? Because you actually have to work your tail off! I loved the first book and am proud to say i am now doing partial reps in the one arm pullup! Thank you Coach Wade, it is so refreshing to find out how Arthur Saxon, Eugene Sandow and Big Paul Anderson trained, very hard without machines and pink gloves!

    Very interesting read.

This book makes a good companion to book #1 and covers material not in the first volume. Again, not really geared to younger readers. The information on protecting and healing your joints well worth the cost.
