Maddie James is a prolific writer, a Food Network junkie, a wannabe gardener, and a closet hermit. She loves being at home (and working from home). Never one with time on her hands, she has dipped her toes into the publishing world in more than one facet of the industry, but her claim to fame is award-winning and bestselling romance novels that chase the happily-ever-after.
Convincing Noraby Maddie James
Dr. Caleb Wyatt thinks the peaceful little town of Greenfield is the perfect place to start his veterinary practice...until the morning he opens the doors of his animal clinic. Mrs. Pierson's poodle has been looking for love in all the wrong places-not to mention a colicky calf, a yellow-tinged iguana, and a bird-eating cat are wreaking havoc with his business. In short...chaos! Until he temporarily hires the lovely and quite organized, Nora Jamieson.
Nora wasn't out to find a job. She was only seeking help for a hairball and flea-infested, newly rescued cat she'd given a furever home. She wasn't looking for a man either, just a companion, and Dicey the cat fit the bill. She reluctantly agrees to work for Caleb, but as the days roll on, working becomes a whole lot more than a summer distraction. In fact, she fears falling for Caleb, something this plain Jane girl thought she would never experience. It's time to retreat. And fast.
Caleb senses Nora's confusion and soon finds that convincing her to work for him was the easy part. Convincing Nora that he's her forever man is quite another.

I loved this book. Nora is a extremely insecure women. So insecure she thinks she is not good enough to be loved and Caleb who opens up his veterinary practice in Nora's home town. He needed a fresh start after a bad experience. Once he met Nora he fell hard. There are many funny parts that had me laughing out loud and other parts that I cried for Nora. But love always finds a way.
This one was way too unbelivable for me. The hero fell in love too fast with the heroine. I like conflict between the hero and heroine in my stories. I especially love it when they start out disliking each other, adds a far more interesting read for me as opposed to no battle of the sexes, but that's just my take. You may love this so give it a try if mushy, gooey, so sticky sweet gives you a toothache romance is your cup o' tea. Happy Reading~~~~~
