    big bummer

    One of her worst books yet. Not having an index is quite irritating. This cookbook is heavy on the diner type greasy foods you can get around the clock. I have yet to find one recipe I would want to bother to cook.

    Not as good as her other books

    This book serves up greasy style diner food 24/7. Not my idea of healthy eating. Also no idex. This is her poorest book yet.

    Great book but...

    Great book! Love the recipes. But EXTREMELY disappointed in not having an index. I seem to find myself skipping this recipe book just bc of the annoying process of having to read everything. Great job on the recipes though Rachael!

    Just What I Expected

    I have been a devoted fan of Rachael's since receiving her '30 minute meals 2' about two years ago. I would have to agree with some of the reviews below that it can be a little frustrating at times to not have an index in the book (which the publisher brought back in her latest release so you do not have to worry about that happening again), but honestly, it does not take away from the quality of the book as a whole. She introduces so many new meal options and there has not been one recipe in the book that either my mom or I have made that flopped. Rachael continues to remain predictable with her recipes: they truly are 30 minute meals that taste awesome and bring back the joy of cooking in your home again.

    Family friendly

    I needed to cook fast and on a budget. Using Racheal's books has allowed me to make a great menu before going to the store and a great meal every hour of the day. The greatest thing about this book is the exposure to new foods that have simple approachable tastes. My children (3yr and 18m) are trying new cuisine and my husband eats things he has always disliked, or thought he did!

    3 stars just b.c i love her show

    After watching her on a daily basis i was excited when i got her book. Her recipes arent all that great. My boyfriend and i go through her book looking for yummy meals and for now we havent found many.

    Where's the index?

    I am a huge Rachael Ray fan, and have used recipes in all of her previous books. While I think that the recipes in this book are fine, I am extremely disappointed in the editors. They didn't include an index! How can you have a cookbook without an index??? I often look for a recipe based on what I have on hand. Without an index, it's very difficult to do!

    outstanding guide lines!!!

    As a food operation sergeant in the U.S. Army with over 15 years cooking,I have use her book to make a great meals in the dining facility during the Phillip A. Connelly Best Din.Fac.Comp. the judges was very excited and happy including the soldiers that we served.I highly recommend her book to anyone that is willing to try,it really works!!!

    I love rachael ray! I watch her 30 minute meals show everyday. i think you have to be a fan of hers to really enjoy this book! Ignore the above review, i thought it was great!

    Same old recipes

    Rachael Ray's cookbook is easy to follow but nothing greater than a Betty Crocker cookbook. Her meals are just a juiced up version of Hamburger Helper! Rachael needs to start taking sophisticated recipes and make them simple. Very disappointed in this book! Overall boring as well as the food recipes!
