Meet the Author

Jennifer Reilly is a dietitian in the Washington, DC, area who is on a mission to make healthy eating hip, simple, fun, and scrumptious. Her passion for plant foods started in high school after being told she’d be grounded if she became a vegetarian, and landed her in the front row of college nutrition lectures shortly after. Once she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Penn State and a registered dietetic degree from Virginia Tech, she became the managing director of The Cancer Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cancer prevention and survival through nutrition education and research.

When she’s not force-feeding people beans and quinoa, Jennifer is chasing after her three young children, vegetable gardening, and playing ultimate frisbee.
