Positives: There's good recipes in here that I tried out today. Squash Casserole (some went back for 3rds), Pesto Butter, Chipolte Mayo, and grilled steaks were all well received. Like other Cook's Illustrated books, they explain why each step is done. Negatives: (1) They should have something about dessert here. Even something as simple as what I did today: grilling peach halves and pineapple slices. (2) While the lay-flat binding of the book is appreciated, just turning the pages seem to make a lot of noise.
