Berlin is one of the most significant of all European capitals. Its rich history and cultural tradition make it a desirable place to visit. New visitors, however, may find themselves overwhelmed with its offerings, and it's useful to have a concise and interesting guidebook that can direct your visit. "Cool Berlin" is precisely such guidebook. This short guidebook is intended for those Berlin visitors who want to experience some of the best and coolest attractions that this city has to offer. There is a section in this book dedicated to hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, and general attractions. Each of the establishments that are showcased is presented with beautiful and enticing photographs that capture the essence of its charm and allure. Most of these are fairly pricy, and this guidebook provides the reader with a rough range of prices at each of them. The shopping section is too geared towards women's fashion, and the places to visit tend to be more avant-garde than cool. The book also provides ample textual information about these cool sites, all of which is presented in three different languages: English, German, French, and Spanish. This makes this guidebook particularly suitable for international visitors. One of the main attractions of this pocked guidebook is its splendid design. The beautiful photographs and the high quality paper on which it's printed make this an enjoyable book to read even if you are not in Berlin. This guidebook works perfectly well as a coffee table book. So whether you are traveling to Berlin, or are just curious to find out more about its cool offerings, this will be a very enjoyable book to go through.
