    Great Little Steampunk Story!

This was a really entertaining sci fi/steampunk short story. It opens with, "I was 23 when I learned the universe wanted me dead." It doesn't let up from there. The action is fast-paced and sprinkled with just the right amount of humor. Cora is in an unsatisfying relationship and thinks she's having a bad day.until the clockwork men show up and it gets much, much worse. In the midst of fighting for her life, she meets the mysterious Walker, who just may be able to get her out of this mess and provide her with some very important answers.

This story was fun and well-written. I hope to read more about Cora and the Walker in the future.
