I purchased this book to introduce the holiday to my 14 month old. Not only did we read it every night in November, I brought it with us to Thanksgiving dinner at our friends, and had all the kids sitting around the coffee table before dinner, listening to the story of Corduroy and his Thanksgiving. The ideas are simple and easy to understand for all young children. The illustrations are fun and engaging.
