The Cornered Cat is the ultimate resource for women who choose to carry a firearm for self defense. It covers everything from cleaning a pistol to methods of carry. It tells women everything they ever wanted to know about how to carry a firearm for self defense. The Cornered Cat is all about women that have chosen or are considering choosing firearms for self defense, sport, or just wanting to understand more about what their menfolk find so fascinating. This book contains a wealth of information presented in Kathy's warm and often humorous style. She tackles the serious considerations of using deadly force in defense of oneself and loved ones in a thought-provoking, non-judgmental, "between girlfriends" prose that is neither threatening nor sugar-coated, just very real.

It's too bad the prior reviewers don't understand the concept of what a review is for. It's supposed to be about the book, not B&N. In this case it's gotten an average 1.5 stars simply because B&N doesn't offer it for the Nook even though it's a well written book for the woman with a CCW permit. If you're a lady or you have a lady in your life who legally carriers concealed, this is a good book for them as it's written by a woman specifically for women and leaves out the macho tactical stuff. Hopefully B&N will remove those reviews as it does an injustice to a well written and very useful book although it would be nice to have available for the Nook.
As a CCW instructor recomend the book to every one that takes my class!
Recommended by my CCW instructor.
A terrific guide for any Woman considering buying a gun- how to choose the best one for you, how to care for it...and for those of us who already carry with lots of info from the female perspective.
Wish this was available for nook!
Why is it that this book is available for the Kindle but not the Nook?
