    Great book!

    It is easy to read and understand, and it has a lot of cases from the real life to relate theory to every day proyects.

    Applicable Concepts

    Although this is the older version of the text (a new version was released, but the professor did not want to make students pay a few more dollars for more up-to-date information), the case studies and content are very good. If read in the context of management principles, and not just information technology management, the information is more interesting. It is easy to consider this a "management" text, not just an "information technology management" text. The authors lay out the content in a logical flow, with case studies clearly linking to the text chapters that precede the case studies.

    Some of the diagrams could be drawn better to more clearly convey the ideas of the authors. Even the professor had difficulty interpretting some of the diagrams and could not answer questions when asked to explain them.

    Overall, I really enjoy this book and the fact that it is written by Harvard Business School faculty gives it more credibility. I am glad our less highly rated university is using this text in our MBA program so we can learn from some of the best!
