A teaser of a book that is to be continued. I know it was free but c'mon, complete the book. If I like the writing style and the story, I'll by more. I didn't like the writing style or story enough to buy the next so a waste of my time.

One star because it was a free read and I appreciate and a second star because the author made an effort. This book is only 66 pages on my Nook and ends abruptly with a cliffhanger and you need to read books two and three to finish the story. Unfortunately the 66 pages are mostly awkward unnecessary narrative with unrelatable characters and stilted contrived dialog. Christy is so immature for her age that you soon just don't care what she does or doesn't do and Blake is a sweet talking cowboy one minute and a unresponsive dullard the next. All in all this little story just never takes off.
