This is fantasy at it's finest. I read this trilogy in high school in 1973 and the amazing changes that occur to and around the (eternal)protagonist make it the best of it's genre I have ever read. (Put on Guinivere by CSNY for a mood enhancer while being engrossed)Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This book is one of the greatest books ever written (if not the greatest book ever written). It is one of those books that isn't boring once. It is exceptionaly original and it has a style of writing that hasn't been done before. For a three in one (knight of the swords, queen of the swords and king of the swords) it is quite short but still an exceptional amount of events happen. It is completely different from the usual fantasy stlye (lord of the rings, shannara) and uses its own diffent idea. The main character Corum is pretty much the perfect character. He is evreything you want in a main character. He is tragic, dashing, brave and heroic. Now throughout the whole book Corum does literally hundreds of things and of which some connect to the other eternal heroes such as when he mets with erekose and elric of melnibone. This book is an absolute classic that must be read by those who want a change from the usual fantasy stles and also those who don't.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
