Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"You hold in your hands a treasury of biblical hope and practical help. While it won't equip you to change people (that's God job), it will help you handle the Word of Truth accurately and speak its timeless wisdom into the lives of others."
--Dr. Tim Clinton, president, American Association of Christian Counselors

"The Counseling Through Your Bible Handbook provides a virtual lab in biblical counseling. Through practical application, June shows us how to use biblical truth to change minds, change hearts, and change lives in the power of the Spirit."
--Dr. Mark L. Bailey, president, Dallas Theological Seminary

"June Hunt has been addressing the root issues for hurting hearts for as long as I have known her. God has given her an insightful sensitivity not only to identifying human problems but also to uncovering biblical solutions. All who have hurting hearts or who minister to wounded spirits need this resource, which is efficiently arranged and ready to provide answers and tools for healing. No human resource has more ‘hope for the heart!'"
--Dorothy Kelley Patterson, professor of theology in women's studies, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

"June's handbook includes everything of importance to me for counseling. It emphasizes the sufficiency of Scripture, the pre-eminence of Christ, and it is a treasury of practical help to those in distress."
--Lee LeFebre, president, Exchanged Life Ministries

"For anyone feeling overwhelmed in helping a friend or family member through abuse, an addiction or any other challenging problem, now you can feel much more confident. The Counseling Through Your Bible Handbook is a handy, practical and, best of all, biblical guide that will lead you to God's solutions."
--Dr. Woodrow Kroll, president, Back to the Bible International

"June Hunt has blessed the body of Christ with a gift that is biblically faithful and filled with practical wisdom. The breadth of topics covered (50 total!) makes this a necessary and valuable tool for those seeking to provide godly answers to those who are hurting and wounded in a fallen world."
--Daniel L. Akin, president, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC

"A great tool, very pragmatic! I recommend it highly."
--Frank Minirth, M.D.

"Counseling Through Your Bible Handbook is a condensed version of The Biblical Counseling Keys that our pastoral care staff and community group leaders have been using for several years to lead people to spiritual and relational healing. It is a great topical scriptural resource pointing people to Jesus Christ, the Remedy, that we whole heartedly endorse and recommend at Watermark Community Church. We are praying this book has a great impact for the cause of Christ."
--Jim Wimberley, staff pastor, Watermark Community Church

"The integrity of June Hunt makes solid the foundation for biblical truth she shares in a convenient, practical style. June brings her warmth and caring spirit to a process of providing biblical hope with pinpoint accuracy. This tool will be of great benefit to our servant volunteers who work with the broken and hurting each day. Counseling Through Your Bible Handbook takes a Scripture reference guide to the next level."
--Eric Willis, pastor of Caring Ministries at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, Carrollton, TX and president of Reclaim Leadership; Offering Hope for Healthy Ministry.

"Counseling Through Your Bible Handbook is already serving as a close-by tool for us at Christian Training Center in Dallas, Texas, as we provide biblically based solutions to the many issues/problems that our ministry encounters. The topics are relevant to what we see on a regular basis. Ms. Hunt has done it again in providing excellent biblical material to help the hurting and/or to assist those called to help the hurting!"
--Rosalind M. Stanley, MA, CPC, professional pastoral counselor, Christian Training Center
