Meet the Author

Edward Clougherty, a Boston native, has been living in South Florida for the past twelve years. He is a graduate of Boston University (B.A. English) and New England Law (J.D.), and is a former investigator for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts. There he worked with local and state police and agents from the F.B.I., Secret Service, D.E.A., A.T.F., and U.S. Treasury. He later practiced criminal law in private practice. He spoke at a forum on “The History and Legacy of Writs of Assistance,” hosted by Supreme Court Justice David Souter in February, 1993. He has been involved in website design and attendant legal issues since the early 1990’s.
