Country Songs for Children based on 0 ratings. 9 reviews.
My kids loved this album back in the 70's. Now I'm buying it for my grandchild. Children's music at its best -- and grownups like it equally well. I don't mind hearing it over and over and over. Tom knows kids.
I grew up listening to Tom T. Halls ''The Mysterious Fox of Fox Hollow'', and it has become a wonderful memory for me. This album has all the songs from his ''Mysterious Fox'' album plus some, so it's that much better! The songs all tell charming and encouraging stories that will teach your kids valuable lessons as well as give them hours of enjoyable music and fun. Any child or parent is guarantied to love it!
I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday, since then we have listened to hundreds of time. She loves it!! It calms her down and makes her dance! No other CD has had such an effect on her. The songs are wonderful and a lot of fun even for an adult (the only problem is you might find yourself humming them at work).
My sister, mom, and I were thrilled to find this album in a CD format! We only had it in a worn-out record with no record player to listen with. This is some of the best children's music out there, with a wonderful message in simple songs. Thanks for some great memories Tom T. Hall!
This was a favorite of mine when I was little, and now its a Favorite of my niece. She is getting the CD for her birthday. Currently she is listening to it on the old record player.
Tom T. Hall's music floods my childhood memories. Even now that I am 22 I still sing along to the old 45. I still have it and still play it on the same record player. So many memories . . .every child should have this experience.
I had this album when I was a kid and have never been able to find it. I'm always singing the songs to my kids. Now they can enjoy them themselves!!!
I grew up listening to this tape and now that I'm on my own it's so good to remember the "good ol' days". My brother and I pop the cd in and laugh.
My dad bought this album (in 8-track format) for us to share. I am thrilled that I will be able to share this with our daughter.
