This is a complete story (well written too!) that is told in a short form. However, the story is told without being rushed or cut short. I love how it was a twisted fairy tale... a definite upgrade to overdone tales. Also, it goes above and beyond to keep the audience intrigued and guessing what will be next. Like other reviews, I didn't see the ending coming! I grew to like each of the characters. This story is very clever and worth the short amount of time you'll spend reading it. Parents: I would say junior high and up. Nothing is wildy inappropriate but there are things a younger reader might not get.

I just recently finished this book. I was really shocked when I read the scene between Bibzy and Winstead. Wow I honestly didn't see that coming. I think a lot of people should read this book. I can't wait to read more books by R.J Ross. I find this book to be amazing..even if it's an "old fairy tale with a twist"

Must be one of her earlier works it was more suitable for young people. Pleasant read but skipped through could not stay with it. If you feel like revisiting your youth this is the way to go if not move on.

Not what I expected, but worth the read! Fun, twisted play on all our childhood fairtales. No bad lanuage or romance scenes just good humor and honest fun.

Sometimes it is really nice to read and engaging and entertaining short story. This book was a nice escape back into the fairy tales of ones youth, yet with a twist. I really, really enjoyed it and so will you. Especially since it is free!

I am really struggling to get through this book. The writing is stilted, the characters fail to illicit any emotion at all, and so far, I've not seen any redeeming qualities to any of the characters. Alex has told his parents that Jay loves her kingdom, but we've not been shown that at all. And one point that I'm having difficulty with is, I know it's a fairy tale and all, but if she's knocked unconscious, how does the know how to break the curse, since it's told her when she's unconscious?  Overall, I find this a little too immature, a little too unorganized, and a little too poorly written. Cute concept, but that's about all it has going for it.

I almost stopped reading it within the first few pages but I'm glad I didn't. I may not have loved the writing but the story was clever & enjoyable. I recommend it.

This book is a great twist on fairytales! I usually don't read this type of book and was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this book!

I love the classic story of "Beauty and the Beast", so when I saw this inexpensive nook book I decided it was worth looking into. I'm so glad I bought this book. This story, series, and author have become one of my all time favorites. I have since purchased and read everything by this author and highly recommend her amazing works.

Their was a princess and she was a beautiful one at that. She was 12 and she had a royal guard . She had adopted as a baby dragon at the age of 14 years old. This person had a fairy godmother. She was a werewolf was appearing at chapter one of this book and all though this book too. And their was also a fairy godfather in this novel too. She had a basketball court at the palace where she was living in. The other werewolves went to play basketball at the palace now. She plays every sport but tennis. I enjoyed this novel very much.
