Meet the Author

Mr. Lynn grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA during the 1940's and early 1950's when there were plenty of dirt back yards for kids to scuffle in. This was the era when Western Movies were popular with kids and adults. Mr. Lynn has watched many westerns ranging from Shane and The Wild Bunch to the Hopalong Cassidy, "Rocky" Lane and Red Ryder series. He was fascinated not only by the fast gunfights and action sequences, but by the struggles of settlers, the Indians, the Cavalry and the forces for good and evil. Now in his retirement years, Mr. Lynn has indulged his interest in writing summaries of the stories contained in his Top 150 Westerns and ten westerns he calls "Westerns That Are Not Westerns" (like Bad Day At Black Rock, Old Gringo, In Pursuit Of Honor, etc.). Read about these stories and you may find many western movies you would like to see! Mr. Lynn holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration obtained from San Diego State University, CA. He always wondered where the beautiful scenery, rocks and terrain was that he saw in Western Movies like Broken Arrow, Singing Guns, Gun Fury, and The Eagle and the Hawk, never dreaming that someday he would end up living in Sedona, Arizona where these films were made.
