A twenty-first-century retractable roofing system allows natural light and air to be exposed onto the world’s largest column-free interior space. Lauded by the Wall Street Journal as "simply mesmerizing," the Cowboys Stadium is a work of art in its own right. This volume captures the exhilaration of the synergy of art and architecture in this lauded landmark.

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

Any home of the Dallas Cowboys football team would have to be special, but their new stadium earns its own "oohs" and "aahs". Completed not long before the start of the 2009 season, this domed stadium with a retractable roof has won praise both as a state-of-the-art gridiron forum and as a masterpiece of architecture. Contributing to its gestalt are nineteen commissioned pieces by artists including Olafur Eliasson, Mel Bochner, and Lawrence Weiner. Dallas Morning News architecture critic David Dillon walks readers through this mammoth edifice and its memorable artwork. Not just for Cowboys faithful.

    Great for Cowboys Fans!

I bought this for my brother for Christmas (he is a lifelong Cowboys fan). He has been to the Cowboys stadium in person several times and he absolutely LOVED the book.
