This book is a fabulous way to get your kids interested in books and reading. They will easily identify with the pictures and the story and I think they will find it hilarious. You've got to get it!

Cows Can't Jump is an endearing story teaching kids to appreciate their own skills and talents instead of wishing they could be like someone else. It's a true and important lesson and the illustrations are absolutely adorable. A must read for all developing children!!

What else can I say but 'what a great way to teach young children about animals and the words connected to their movements.' The pictures were great and I absolutely loved the one with the cow swimming. This is a great point to the picture and talk book that children will enjoy learning from, and I can imagine parents testing their children after reading it about 'what cows do? What snakes do?' Etc Overall I would say that this is a delightfully bright little children's book, which definitely has read again potential, and one that's going to go down well in primary schools and nurseries.

"Cows Can't Jump" is simply written and yet sets forth a brilliantly powerful message to young children...and adults alike. The different animals throughout the story illustrate to us all how important it is that we are proud of our differences and our abilities. It is a must read for all!

Cows Can't Jump is a simple story that I would recommend for parents to read with young children. As an elementary teacher, I can see using this adorable story to ignite discussions of being alike and different. As a grandma, I can guarantee that your little ones will love the fun illustrations and playful word patterns. It makes a perfect gift for the young animal lover in your life! This charming book is a delightful celebration of what makes each of us unique and special. "Cows Can't Jump" is a clever and inventive tool for teaching children to focus on what they do best and respect others for what they can or cannot do. But, most of all, it is great fun. The illustrations will tickle children and adults alike!

Wow! I give this book 5 stars without hesitation! It is fun, funny, educational and has fabulous illustrations. On top of all of that, it sends a positive message to children. A definite must-read-to for small children, and a must-read for children a bit older and just learning to read. I hope to see more from Dave Reisman!
