Sparked by the internet, cable TV, and, yes, Barnes & Noble, the Crafts Revolution continues to surge. No crafts activist is more in touch with this growing movement than needlework whiz/blogger/author Vickie Howell. In Crafts Corps, the author of Vickie Howell's Pop Goes Crochet (1600594662) invites readers into the workshops of craftspeople of every stripe and stitch. The paperback's 90 interviews include chats with artisans both famous (Mary Engelbreit, Denyse Schmidt, Sandi Genovese) and unknown. A superb way to widen your crafts horizons.
