"Crashing Down is a summer must read! I was captivated from start to finish!"--#1 NYT Bestselling Author Rachel Van Dyken
When reckless meets responsible...

Straight A student Kathryn Lane is all work and no play. She's determined to keep her scholarship, and that means no distractions...until she takes a summer internship at Stone Cliff Resort and meets bad boy Noah Ryan. She knows she should keep her distance—after all he’s not the kind of guy she can bring home to daddy—but his disarming smile and dangerous ways are entirely too tempting.

College dropout, Noah Ryan takes one look at Kathryn and instantly knows her type—ambitious, driven and determined, just like he used to be, before the accident that derailed his life and left him an emotional wreck. He vows to avoid her, but when a co-worker backs him into a bet he can’t refuse, everything he’s been running from is challenged and he’s forced to confront his demons.

Soon, Kathryn and Noah are lost to everything except each other. As their lives become entwined, their passion is reckless, their heat all-consuming but when hurtful truths spill out, can Noah prove himself worthy of the one girl who can heal his wounded heart, or will the fire they ignited turn to ash when it all comes crashing down?

I am not a big fan of the New Adult genre and I typically shy away from any book that falls into this category. However, after reading Crashing Down by Cathryn Fox, I may be tempted to add some new adult books to my ereader. This is a hot and sweet novella about two people that stumble upon love, as they help each other recognize what they really want out of life.

Noah Ryan and Kathryn Lane are both working at the Stone Cliff Resort in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Noah is the resident ski instructor and white water rafting guide, so he works for the resort all year round. When his best friend was killed, Noah felt the need to escape his happy life as a college student, computer coder and older brother, which is how he ended up at the resort. Noah is a different person now and his reputation as a bad boy with the ladies, along with his poor attitude in the workplace, is accepted by all who know him. Kat is a business student from a prestigious university on the East Coast. She is interning in the resort's marketing department for the summer in order to fulfill the requirements of her scholarship. Kat does not have many friends or fun because she spends all of her time studying in order to make her father proud of her. Art is her true passion, and working behind a desk all day is not what she wants to do for the rest of her life.

Believe it or not, Noah and Kat share some commonalities that are not immediately evident, which only makes this story even more interesting. In addition, they have an amazing chemistry and Ms. Fox does a wonderful job of evolving their relationship. Noah and Kat are a sexy couple and their connection is more than sensual. Overall, this is a compelling story with characters that are well-developed and likeable.

Crashing Down, part of the Summer Lovin’ series, is a charming, fun NA book. Noah Ryan is the Stone Cliff Resort bad boy – he has never met a party that he did not like and loved to have a good time with women. Kathryn Lane is a summer intern, straight A student, and good girl – she does not know how to party, having spent her youth working towards a college scholarship. But things are not as they seem with both Noah and Kat.
I loved watching Kat change from a straight-laced innocent into someone who would stand up for her friends and for herself. I enjoyed watching Noah let go of the guilt that he had been carrying since the death of his best friend, and learn to love himself and someone else.
This book is part of the Summer Lovin’ series but can easily be enjoyed as a standalone. I am looking forward to reading more from both this author and the series.

I've never read a book by Cathryn Fox before and I can she has now gained a new reader. I love her writing style. I'm going to be honest I didn't think I was going to like the hero Noah at first, but he won me over. They say opposites attract and Noah and Kathryn are definitely opposites. Noah is the carefree bad boy and Kathryn is the shy proper girl. They both bring out the best in one another though they don't see it at first. Loved Kathryn and Noah's journey. The heartbreaking tragedy Noah went through you just want to hug his pain away. Definitely give this one a look.

This book captured my heart from the first page to the last. I loved tough guy, Noah and naive Kat. Noah is tough on the outside but so kind hearted on the inside, and just needs to find a way out his thick skin. A bet between Noah and Luke that turns into so much more. A summer romance between Noah and Kat is very hot, great sex scenes. It was so good to see these two characters grow through out the story. Highly recommend, could not put down.
I received this book as a gift from the author for an honest review.

I give this book a strong 4.5 star rating. I enjoyed Crashing Down. The chemistry and relationship
between Kathryn and Noah was beautiful and very sensual. Their relationship was phenomenal and it
was intriguing to see these two people help each other to grow and overcome their own personal
demons. Together they were able to take much needed stands in and with their lives. Together they
brought out the best in one another. It was great seeing Noah brought to his knees by Kathryn. This
story was great as were the characters created by Cathryn Fox. I highly recommend this read to others.
It will certainly warm your heart and place a smile on your face.

I have read several books by Cathryn Fox and this one is a true gem.  It has everything you need in a good book.  There is intense emotions, sweetness, laughter, beautiful friendship, and smoking hot intimate relations.  Poor Noah was so broken that I just wanted to hug him, even though he would not have liked it.  And Kathryn was such a focused never break the rules kinda girl.  These two complemented each other so wonderfully.  Their strengths helped the other's weaknesses.  And I truly loved their friendship, so genuine.  I liked the way Cathryn wrote their angst, in a very mature way.  Not in a usual young adult way that you would think.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received this as an ARC book from Cathryn Fox for my opinion of the book. Thank you Cathryn Fox to giving me the opportunity to read this in advance.  I am very happy to say that I really enjoyed this book and with her being a new author to me I would read more of her books.  I fell in love immediately with Logan - he is the bad boy type with a secret he is keeping.  He comes across as the real tough guy and tells everyone that he is an ass.  I tried to dislike him but I just could not.  I liked Kathryn (Kat) I found her to be quiet, shy and wanting to please her father by doing what he wanted her to do with her life rather that what she wanted.  I must say that once I met both Noah and Kat I hoped they would get together. Their worlds collide as the story continues.  I will not spoil the story for those who have not read it and I would recommend that you do.

I think this is my new favorite book by Cathryn Fox. I thought N

I think this is my new favorite book by Cathryn Fox. I thought Noah's character was just the right mix of tough-guy covering up a traumatized soul and vulnerable, sweet guy who really needed love and compassion from someone who cared. Kat is another well-balanced, well-written, and multifaceted character who I was really rooting for from the beginning, not just to end up with Noah but to come into her own and stand up for herself. I though the relationship between her and her dad was great, too.

Noah Ryan, Crashing Down's hero, captured my heart from page one

Noah Ryan, Crashing Down's hero, captured my heart from page one. He's 21, tough, damaged and has a heart of gold. Once driven to succeed, he blames himself for his best friend's death--no spoilers here. You'll have to read this awesome book to find out why. Now, Noah works at Stone Cliff Resort as a ski instructor in the winter and white water guide in the summer and spends his free time restoring a motorcycle that holds a very special meaning to him.
The first chapter is all Noah. He opens the story and from the first glimpse, the reader's heart goes out to him. He's rough, he's hurting, and I just wanted to reach into the computer and soothe him.

Okay, maybe one or two HINTS at a spoiler:
There's a fight and my heart absolutely hurt at the thoughts going through Noah's head.
There's rough sex with the girl who "sort of" caused the fight as he further attempts to banish his demons. Soothing Noah wasn't on my mind at this time. :D
There's his friend, Jared, whom he helps out financially and worries about.
And then, there's Kathryn...and a bet gone wrong.

Kathryn Lane is an all work, no play, straight A student who takes an internship at Stone Cliff Resort for the summer. Getting involved with the local bad boy, isn't part of the plan, especially as relationships between staff memebers are frowned upon by the management and a bad evaluation could mean losing her scholarship. Pleasing her father is also uppermost on her mind, and Noah is NOT the kind of guy she could take home to daddy. Too bad Noah is as irresistable to Kathryn as he is to the reader!

What can you say about a young man who so desperately needs saving, who spends so much time trying to save a friend and a girl he's coming to care for inspite of knowing he shouldn't?
Don't get me wrong, this story is about both Noah and Kathryn, and each character grows in some amazing ways by the end of the book, but you'll find yourself remembering the damaged hero long after the story ends.

So--if you want a book with roller coaster emotions, exceptional characters, sizzling sex and an ending that will make your heart swell...you've got to read Crashing Down.

Ms. Fox--you've outdone yourself this time.
