Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly - Publishers Weekly
"The animals are having fun. Can you color in the party?" Kids can complete the pictures on the wipe-off pages of Crayon Coloring Play Book by Lee Wade, the creator of other brand-centered books like The Cheerios Play Book. Sturdy pages ensure longevity. Lee Wade's claim to fame appears to be as the creator of "The Cheerios Play Books." In the same vein, then, he now offers us this board book. Its only function is as a portable coloring book which can be used, then wiped clean and used again. The double-page spreads have bold colored backgrounds, with an item or two left white to be filled in. So there are houses, dogs, flowers, fish, and trucks to choose from. The options are not vast, and the chances for creativity are nil, but perhaps the board book could be useful for long car trips. 2002, Little Simon,
