Editorial Reviews

Lois Schultz
Part of the Cul-de-Sac Kids series, this adventure finds Eric spying on his new neighbor, an old gentleman with a billowing cape and pointy nose who barks orders and, with his cane, directs the unloading of the moving van. When Eric later sees soft lights flickering throughout the neighbor's house and hears flute music early each morning, he is sure the man is dancing with angels and determines that it is time for the Cul-de-Sac Kids to unravel the mystery. Short sentences, brief chapters, and lots of white space, coupled with the holiday-mystery theme and interesting characters, yield a chapter book that should have great appeal among young readers.

A creepy mystery that has to be solved.

When the Cul-da-sac kids see angels flying around the next house on the street they wonder are the angels they see real and alive or is it just a dream.?
