    A cute romance!

    Review by JoAnne: This was a cute romance that had lots of laughter and conflict and even a few teary eyed moments. Andrew and Tasha don't set out to find love but they keep getting thrown together in some hard to believe ways. As they get to know each other and spend some time alone while in a resort in Jamaica they end up falling in love which is what neither one wanted. As one is able to make peace with it, the other isn't and runs away. Ultimately there is a happy ending but it took longer to reach than I would have thought. It also wasn't what I would have guessed to be the resolution of getting them together but I was pleased with the result. I've read other books by Maddie James and while this wasn't my favorite of hers it did draw you in and keep me interested in the story without trying too hard. If you're looking for a lighthearted and quick read this would be a good book for you. After reading it you might also like James enough to read some of her other books.

    Favorite Quote: "Taking her chin in his hand again, he forced her to look at him. His voice was soft, alluring and calming, but his words held a venom that frightened her. "Tell me you don't love me, Tasha. Say the words. Then I will leave here and forget all of this. I'll forget you. Tell me, because that's the only way I will do it Otherwise, I'll never believe you don't want me. And I won't give up hope, Tasha. Until I hear the words, I will never give up hope.""
