I just finished Sandra Edwards' "Crazy for you" and I

I just finished Sandra Edwards' "Crazy for you" and I loved it. I can't wait to read the
sequel "Forever for you." Even though she writes of the rich and famous you know them as they were prior to their successes and see them as real people with real faults and emotions. Roxanne and Candy's friendship is one to be admired, especially Candy's loyalty. Edwards covered a large timeframe without "flashbacks" but rather unique methods like the character's composing Roxanne's autobiography. The personality changes and growth of Frankie and the others leave you wanting more - I couldn't put it down.

    A beautiful love saga

Sandra Edwards has written a compelling love story that spans several years. This book has it all - love and hate, joy and heartbreak. Roxanne knows he's bad for her, but she can't stop loving him, can't stop thinking about him. Frank's feelings evolve over time, and you'll be surprised at the ending.

Gripping Story - A Must READ!

Wonderful story about finding true love and how important it is to fight for! "Crazy for You" is full of emotional twists and gripping characters you will find yourself thinking about long after you read the final page. A great nail biter as you wonder if and how these two love birds will learn to forgive and trust each other again. I loved the twist at the end, never saw it coming. Can't wait to read more by Sandra Edwards!

    Page Turner!

It is no secret that I am a huge fan of romance novels. After reading the premise for this book I couldn't wait to start reading it. I loved 'Crazy for you'. It is far from a typical romance book, Crazy for You offered so much more. The book takes place in the 80's in a world of sex, drugs and rock and roll. Roxanne meets starving musician Frank Garret and they both are immediately taken by each other. The passion that these two share for each other radiates off the pages. Roxanne has become one of my favourite book characters, I fell in love with her from the very beginning and I was surprised with how I could relate to her in some parts. This book is a page turner! The suspense in this book is a pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting all the twist and turns. They had me flying through the pages. The entire character cast is great, you'll find yourself falling in love with not just Roxanne and Frank but with all the characters.

Sandra Edwards is definitely a favourite author of mine, she delivers fantastic story lines that keep you hooked. I just learned from visiting her website that there is a sequel coming for 'Crazy for You'! It is titled 'Forever for You', I can't wait to get my hands on that one. I am excited to learn more about Roxanne and Frank and what is to come. 'Crazy for You' is filled with so much, wild storyline, romance and great suspense. What more could you ask for? An amazing book. A Must read!

***I received this ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in excha

***I received this ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review***

Ok where to start with this...this was a very hard book to get through. The way the story is told with mostly dialogue and inner dialogue made it very hard for me to stay interested. The plot was not well thought out or even believable. I get that this is fiction but it still has to have a realistic plot. Roxanne manages to write books, covert them to screen plays, has her son, and wins best actress awards all in the span of four years.  Um...yeah not realistic.

I did not connect or like any of the characters in this book, at all. The two main characters Roxy and Frankie are selfish, immature, and over-dramatic.  I'm sorry but selfish, immature and over-dramatic does not equate to damaged.  The writing was choppy and did not flow well, lacking in detail for the setting and characters. Possibly one of the most poorly written books I have ever read.

    True to life....

Was this book controversial? I didn't see that... what I did see was, it's not your usual romance. Which is good... I sort of get sick of the happy, happy romance books all the time. Its more true to life... yep with the same messed up relationships, people doing things wrong for the wrong reasons, and trying to fix things...

Did I like it... most of the time I would say yes. There were a few parts I skipped over (sorry) got a little to real. It makes you think about your own relationships that is for sure. And I wouldn't say it was for everyone. But I liked it! Its good to see something different and true come on line.

    thanks for the good read.
