Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Sandoz unfurls the story of the noted Oglala Sioux warrior who fought many battles for his people's independence, culminating with wiping out Custer's troops at the Little Bighorn. Despite his apparent standoffishness, Crazy Horse was a charismatic leader and clever strategist. This 1942 volume paints a detailed portrait. Copyright 2004 Reed Business Information.

    A GREAT READ

This is my fourth book on Crazy Horse that I have read in the last six months and I found it very informative. It was one of the more historically, culturally and politically correct works on a very interesting and often misunderstood or misrepresented individual. The author did an incredible job of showing this leader and warriors humble, serving nature.
I would highly recommend this book to any one that is a student of the Indian Wars and the downfall of the American Indian.
