I bought this book to get me started in making books with a handmade, artistic appeal (not finely-bound constructions). The author is an artist/writer and her book encourages you to showcase your prose, poetry or artwork in book form. There is a good range of easy-to-make book types that you can learn here. Tools and materials required are minimal & easy to find. Great sample pictures and straight-forward diagrams. However! there are many explanations & additional information missing in the instructions. Very frustrating when you're just starting out! Maybe not the best book for a beginner but definitely a worthy addition to one's library.
